About the Exhibit
Inspired by my silent mentor the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) who left Earth during the 1990s and the Indian Vedic science that talks about how the universe is a manifestation of consciousness and hence everything that exists outside us, also exists inside our minds and bodies.
With a 2.4-meter (7.9 ft) mirror, Hubble's four main instruments observe the ultraviolet, visible, and near-infrared regions of the electromagnetic spectrum. Hubble's orbit outside the distortion of Earth's atmosphere allows it to take extremely high-resolution images, with substantially lower background light than ground-based telescopes. Hubble has recorded some of the most detailed visible-light images ever, revealing an in-depth view into space and time, allowing us to visualise what the universe could like like within the subconscious realms of our own bodies and minds.

We cannot afford to ignore the existence of a symbiotic relationship between humans and the ocean today. The solution is awareness. “We need the ocean as much as it needs us.”
To create more awareness through my art, I created a free iPad application called Ocean Wonders. I spent three years in the ocean and the islands researching and photographing the ocean creatures in the Indian Ocean, and then two more years creating this application using ONLY Adobe Photoshop. Born and raised in Mumbai, India, Gauri Chopra began her career in 2002, when she transformed her childhood photography hobby into her passion as a self-taught nature and commercial photographer. In 2010 Chopra graduated with a BA in industrial and scientific photography from the prestigious Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California. This newly acquired knowledge of scientific techniques changed Chopra’s perspective on photography, after which she started her commercial career in New York.
Amid her commercial journey, she realized that her art was calling for a larger purpose in life. A purpose via which she could create more value through her art and share the knowledge with others. “Art is a passionate journey; hence art can create awareness and value only when it is accessible to the world”.
In the search for creating more awareness of the artist within herself, in 2012, Chopra discovered the ocean through her lens, after which she quit her commercial work and dedicated five years of her life to studying and capturing the wonders of our oceans and its inhabitants in the Indian ocean. In the process, she learned about how tropical coral reefs are productive ecosystems, and not only do they support enormous biodiversity, but they are also of immense value to the human species. This exhibit aims to create awareness about the coexistence of the symbiotic relationship between humans and the ocean.

Earth Our Heaven

About the Exhibit
Inspired by the Indian Vedic philosophies of the Big Bang theory... within the concept of the multiverse, lies our universe which is made up of 24 elements (Tattva’s) and 64 main dimensions. All 64 dimensions have different versions of us (higher beings) who have been using minds and bodies to create and preserve Earth. Each clan of higher beings, be it warriors, chanters, sportsman, meditators or yogi’s, use their energies to creatively plant pure intentions to preserve and constantly nurture our unique piece of art called "Earth".
We are ethereal beings with higher intelligence and we are going through the Human Experience. We created the earth out of sheer boredom while dwelling /traveling in empty spaces for trillions of years. Ironically this very imposter called "boredom" has also led us to destroy our environment (our only heaven called Earth).
